What’s happening with SEOs? Oh yeah, with Ahrefs, this SEO tool that helps you increase your traffic, research your competitors, and dominate your position. From my experience, most of the pages that are not found on the website are due to the lack of links more than anything else. So today’s tutorial is about finding opportunities to get more backlinks to existing content. Let’s get to that.

Step 1: Look at who’s linking to the top 10 Ranking page for your target keyword.

The first thing you should do is search for your target keyword. Who is contacting the top 10 ranking pages Now, these possibilities are relevant because they are already linking to other pages on the same or similar topics. So a free way to find out who is contacting them to run a search on Google for your target keywords.

So we say I wanted to rank for the “best hiking backpack“. Then, you can copy the URL.

URL for the advanced page and then paste each one separately into the free backlink checker.

And with the free tool, you’ll be able to see the top 100 backlinks shown on the page. Now, if you have an account with alphabets, just go to Keyword Explorer, search for your desired keywords, and scroll to the bottom of the page. Here, you’ll see the top ten ranking pages, as well as references to SEO metrics such as the number of backlinks and the domains that point to the page. To analyze each backlink profile, click on the number in the Backlinks column, making sure you set the filter to “Group As”, which will add lots of places, such as sidebars and footers. Duplicate links will appear and then export the results. Filter for some good link prospects and you can start to digest your content. Now, while these prospects are the easiest to find, you have to search for your delivery emails. The good value will require a value-filled angle. Feel free to read our article on email access that will help you create the angle of your pitch.

Step 2: Look for similar pages with links than arent necessarily rank in the top 10

But for now, let’s go to the next resort, looking for pages with links that don’t necessarily rank in the top 10. Google’s ranking algorithm is complicated. Just because you have more links will not rank you more than competing pages. There are other elements that come into play such as

  • on-page SEO,
  • quality of content,
  • content freshness

to name a few. So instead of looking at just ten ranked pages, we’ll look at all the articles with follow-up links on the same topic. To do this, go to Ahrefs Content Explorer, and search for the keywords you want. Let’s once again go with the “best-hiking backbone”

example. Finally, I’ll set it in the title search. Now, since we are exploring the possibility of links, let’s set up a filter to show only pages that have at least five referring domains, i.e. at least five links from unique websites. And now we have about 25 pages each of which are linked and best of all, you see pages with slightly different angles, such as “for women” and “for children”

QUERIES SOLVED

Which we can easily add to & our post as a sub-section. Here’s another example of a really good place to look. This article is on the 12 best hiking back bags of 2018. Now, often, the “best [product name]” -type posts need to be updated at least every year as new manufacturers are always releasing new products. And if we look at the graph of traffic history, you will see that this page is getting more traffic by the 2019 hit. And then it fell. Researchers are no longer interested in last year’s best hiking backpacks. So they are losing traffic, which can also serve as your takeout angle. Rinse and repeat it for any pages on which you want to create backlinks, and you should be able to expand the list of possible links.

Step 3: look at the latest links from your competitors and then pitch these sites to guest posts.

Another great way to find link prospects is to look at the latest links from your competitors and then pitch these sites to guest posts. Typically, the way guests expect posts to work is that you find a list of related websites and you create content to post to your site. And generally, you’ll find a link back to your site, whether it’s within the content or in the author bio. Now, one problem with this method is that you are often pitching sites that are no longer active. So the only way we can address this issue is to see who has contacted you recently. Competitors. And it should be a good sign that this site is still active today. To do this, go to Ahrefs Site Explorer and enter the domain of your organic search competitor. Next, go to the New Backlinks Report. By default, the date range is set to the last 7 days.

So set this up in the last 60 days to spread the pool of guest posting sites. Now we need to add some more filters. First, I’ll set it to “one link per domain,” since we don’t have to pitch the same site multiple times. Next, I will set the link Duplau to “doflo” only to find links that pass through the value. In “Blogs”, so that we can find opportunities for guest posting. And now we have a list of more than 255 unique websites. Continue to monitor your competitors’ new backlinks reports, and never miss new guest posting opportunities.

Step 4: resource page link building

Another great way to link to existing content is to do resource page link building research pages in the context of SEO, link to Crete and best RSS. Emphasizes a specific topic. And the reason is that it’s so effective because these pages were designed for it. Contact other generally related pages literally. Tactics for Existing Content The best thing about this strategy is that you can target pages that are slightly wider.

For example, if you are trying to link to this article when targeting queries, “How to do a half marathon training,” you will find pages that talk about marathon training. No need to do as you would normally do on another link. Keep building strategies,

Related topics

start thinking about “technology,” “exercise,” “endurance training,” and so on. If you have your own list, go to Google and search for something like this: URL: links .html and intel: your wide niche word, so in my case “fitness”. And now, Google will display the pages where the “Links HTML” URL is, which is a common footprint resource page and where the page titles are. Among them is the word

“technology”. Visit the pages to make sure they have ‘Resource Response’ you want to mention. Now, if you are a casual user, this is a great way to use the SEO toolbar, where you can view both the domain and page-level metrics to select pages to digest in the data. take the benefit. Click on the “SERP Export” icon, and you should have a good spread spreadsheet to filter your results further. Sudden SideNote:

If you use the toolbar method, I recommend setting up your Google search setting to display the top 100 results. By the way, you will have a large export file that you can search through.
